      Meetup FAQ

What areas of New Jersey do you have meetups in?

We have meetups in several South Jersey counties - Camden, Gloucester, Cape May, Atlantic, Cumberland, and Burlington.

      What ages are meetups for?

Meetups are planned with teens and tweens ages 10+ in mind. While younger siblings are always welcome to come meetup as well, please keep in mind that not all meetups will have age appropriate activities available for them. Occasionally certain venues have age restrictions and that information will be provided when available. You are responsible for providing your own entertainment for younger siblings. Parents are always required to stay with their child(ren) (both younger children and the teens.) Parents are responsible for supervising all of their child(ren) and assuring their safety at all times.

How often are your social meetups?

We usually plan a meetup opportunity at least once per week year round (summer may vary). We encourage the same group of teens to meetup every week to form friendships.

      Where do you meet up?

We use the world as our classroom! Unlike formal co-ops that stuff you in a classroom like environment, we meet up at various locations in the South Jersey area each week. Location is dependent upon the activity that is planned. You can find location information listed with each individual meetup listing.

Can I drop my child off?

Unfortunately we are not a drop off service, nor are we babysitters. Our meetups and co-op classes are family events and you are expected to stay with your child(ren). We are an informal group that simply lets you know where your fellow homeschool families are hanging out or educating their teenage children so you can choose to come socialize and learn with us. You are responsible for you and your child's behavior and safety at all times. Parents don't necessarily have to participate in all activities unless an adult is required.

Can we submit requests with meetup ideas?

Yes, please use our contact form or email us at [email protected].

      Co-Op FAQ

      Do you offer co-op classes?

Yes! Our network of families offers educational opportunities during three co-op sessions each year (Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions). Classes are for teens and tweens ages 10+ only. Classes are provided FREE of charge but space is limited. All learning opportunities will be appropriate for middle and high school level homeschoolers. Please note that you may have to provide your own materials or cover your material expenses to participate and that information will be provided when necessary. Most materials are low cost dollar store friendly items. Parents are always required to stay with their child(ren) at our co-op. Parents are responsible for supervising their child(ren) and assuring their safety at all times. We are NOT a drop off!

      Where does your co-op meet?

We have several locations in Gloucester, Atlantic, and Cumberland Counties. Please view our co-op information page as class locations may vary each co-op based on class needs.

Where can I network with other homeschool families with teen and tweens?

Does it cost anything to network with you?

NO! We believe that you shouldn't have to spend a fortune for your homeschooled teens and tweens to have socialization and learning opportunities! Unlike many other co-ops we have NO membership fees, NO registration fees, NO events fees, and FREE co-op classes! We are not a business or an organization, we are simply a networking resource for homeschooling families. The only money you spend for meetups is the cost of the actual activity we are doing. In almost all cases you will pay it to the venue the day of the activity.

Are you a business or organization?

No, we are simply an informal networking and educational resource put together by homeschooling families. We let you know where our families will be meeting and you are free to choose to join us and socialize! We also provide educational classes during our three yearly co-op sessions. Classes are provided by our network of families free of charge and you may also choose to join us for those as well!
